Spring “Health and Fitness Supplement News” Offers Supplement Industry News and Insight for Supplement Companies

Winter-Spring_2014_Newsletter The spring issue of CMG’s “Health and Fitness Supplement News” is out – offering some timely industry news and legal insight surrounding some of the most critical issues facing supplement companies and supplement industry professionals today.

The issue explores a number of important topics and breaking news in the supplement industry, presenting some important insight into how dietary supplement companies today can best protect their brand and what they need to know about trademarks, copyrights and other critical information surrounding intellectual property law for supplements.  In addition, the newsletter presents timely information surrounding the recent FDA crackdown on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs) and recent FDA warnings for CGMP violations, as well as FTC enforcement actions against weight-loss companies – and how supplement companies can best comply with current regulations.

We’ve been distributing the newsletter at the two major industry events we have attended over the past few weeks – providing attendees at both the Arnold Sports Festival and Expo West with copies throughout these events.   The newsletter has been well-received by all industry professionals we met with – and helped spur a number of important  discussions about these timely topics, and more, as we met with those in the supplement industry at both the Arnold and Expo West.

The spring issue of “Health and Fitness Supplement News” is available both online here, with print copies also available — to request a print version, e-mail [email protected] or call us at 516-294-0300.  We would also be happy to talk with you and answer any questions you may have about any topics addressed in this month’s newsletter, or any issues surrounding dietary supplement law.  Call us 24/7 at 516-294-0300, or email Rick Collins at [email protected] or David Torreblanca at [email protected].
