The Arnold Sports Festival, which is the largest multi-sports festival in the nation, now annually hosts 22,000 athletes competing in more than 80 sports and events, including 14 Olympic sports. The weekend also features the 2019 Arnold Fitness Expo, where more than 700 exhibitors will showcase the latest in fitness apparel, equipment, training tools, and nutrition, as well as feature numerous competitions throughout the weekend. The Arnold Sports Festival has been co-produced by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer since 1989, when it debuted as a one-day bodybuilding competition known as the Arnold Classic, and has grown to be the largest multi-sport event in the world — attracting leading athletes and fitness professionals worldwide.
