Rick to address OCI and DEA Under President Trump at Panel Presentation

Rick Collins will be addressing legal and regulatory issues surrounding dietary supplements next week as a presenter at the upcoming American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) Member Meeting. The meeting, taking place in conjunction with Expo West in Anaheim, California, will feature Rick as part of a legal panel presentation addressing today’s most critical issues in dietary supplements, and is open to both AHPA members and non-members.

The panel presentation will take place on Thursday, March 8th from 10:25 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at the Marriott Marquis North Ballroom at Expo West in Anaheim. Rick’s presentation will address dietary supplements and the law, focusing on the criminal angle of dietary supplements today – and highlight regulatory issues and issues under President Trump (including adulterated products, SARMs, etc.) He will be joined on the panel by Marc Ullman (addressing ongoing NDI issues), Ivan Wasserman (addressing advertising issues, including FTS/NAD and social media) and Justin Prochnow. The panel presentation will be moderated by Will Woodlee.

This presentation marks the first time that Rick has spoken at the annual member meeting of the American Herbal Products Association – which is the national trade association and the voice of the herbal products industry. AHPA is comprised of more than 350 member companies, consisting primarily of domestic and foreign companies doing business as growers, processors, manufacturers and marketers of herbs and herbal products as foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and non-prescription drugs, and also including companies that provide expert services to the herbal trade. The AHPA’s mission is to promote the responsible commerce of herbal products to ensure that consumers continue to enjoy informed access to a wide variety of herbal goods.
