Potential Reintroduction of the Dietary Supplement Labeling Act

Dietary Supplements,FDA,Regulatory

According to The Hill, Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (Ill.) announced yesterday that “he plans to reintroduce the Dietary Supplement Labeling Act, which would require companies to give the FDA the name of each supplement they produce, along with a description, a list of ingredients and a copy of the label.”  As with all legislation, CMG is following this proposed legislation and will keep our current and prospective clients informed of any regulatory changes as they arise.
