Rick Collins and CMG will be sponsoring the upcoming 2013 NPC Team Universe and National Fitness Championships in Teaneck, New Jersey.  The championship is an IFBB Pro Qualifier – with more than 60 IFBB Pro Cards to be awarded at this popular, and well-attended, event.

In addition to sponsoring the event, Rick will be attending Saturday’s contests.  Rick, a former competitive bodybuilder and a monthly columnist for Muscular Developmentmagazine, is the legal advisor to the IFBB (the IFBB, formed in 1946, currently has 173 affiliated National Federations and is recognized by over 90 National Olympic Committees.)

The 2013 NPC Team Universe and National Fitness Championships will be taking place at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, located at 100 Frank West Burr Boulevard in Teaneck, NJ.  In addition to Men’s Bodybuilding, the event will feature Figure, Bikini and Men’s/Women’s Physique contests.

The event is a major competition in the bodybuilding/fitness arena and is expected to draw hundreds of attendees/entries.  Team Universe Men’s Bodybuilding Open Class winners will be eligible to compete on Team USA at the 2013 IFBB World Championships.  First Place Winners of each weight class will be a member of the United States Team to the IFBB World Championships, and weight class winners of the World Championships are eligible for Professional Status.

Ticket prices for the pre-judging events on Friday and Saturday are priced at $25; tickets for Saturday’s Finals, which are all reserved, are available for $45 and $50.
